		<description><![CDATA[So glad to hear Gay Talese, a worthy journalism icon, opt for the truth rather than taking the juicy quote and running. Reminds me of Sam Freedman&#039;s bidding in his book, Letters to a Young Journalist, to making interviewing, especially depth interviewing a conversation. That kind of digging in a conversational interview that lasted years with some sources in my recently completed can only yield the kind of material that gives one a digested feeling.]]></description>
