Mr Domino: It’s great that long-form writing helped you find a career, but I wonder if Weingarten will be sad to learn that his article didn’t inspire you to become a journalist.

Yes if it wasn’t for me reading Gene Weingarten article about “The Great Zucchini” I would never be doing what I love to do and entertaining kids with magic and school assemblies. Gene’s article was something that you just couldn’t put down and after reading the article, I called “The Great Zucchini” to tell him what a wonderful article it was and he offered me to come visit him and watch some of his shows to see if this is something I wanted to do. And from the very first show, I was hooked and I never looked back!! Thanks so much Gene & Eric!!!
